Master, Shipping, Return, Listing, and Payment Profiles

Master Profile Features:

• Create, Edit, Rename, Copy, or Delete
  • Manage your profiles with ease. You can create new profiles or adjust existing ones as needed.
  • Note: Master profiles are used to create new listings, not to edit existing ones.
• Attach Sub Profiles
  • Master profiles allow you to link sub profiles (like shipping, payment, return, and listing profiles) to ensure all your details are consistent across listings.
• Creating a Master Profile
  1. When you create a new master profile, you’re automatically taken to the create new listing page.
  2. Fill out as much or as little as you’d like—then click Save → Save as a Master Profile.
  3. Name your profile, add an optional description, and choose whether to overwrite an existing profile.
  4. Hit Save Profile, and your master profile is ready to be used for future listings!

Profile Settings:

• Profile Name 🏷️
  • Keep it memorable and easy to identify. Remember, the profile name is only visible to you—not your customers.
• Description ✏️
  • Add an optional description to remind yourself of the profile’s purpose. This is also for your eyes only.
• Save as Existing Profile 🔄
  • This option allows you to overwrite an existing profile with your new changes—perfect for updates.

Shipping Profile Features:

• Create, Edit, Rename, Copy, Delete, and View Listings
  • Easily manage your shipping profiles and keep track of which listings are linked to each profile.
  • You can use shipping profiles to edit existing listings or create new ones.

Creating a Shipping Profile

1. Profile Name 🏷️
   • Choose a memorable name that will be easy for you to identify. Remember, this name is for your eyes only—not visible to customers.
2. Description 📝
   • Add an optional description to remind yourself of the profile’s details. This will also be private.
3. Select Your eBay Account and Market 🌍
   • Choose the eBay account and market this profile will apply to.
4. Choose Your Shipping Type 🚚
   • Select from Flat, Calculated, or a combination, based on whether you ship domestically only or also internationally.
5. Select Your Handling Time ⏳
   • Set a realistic handling time, which is the period between receiving payment and getting your product to the carrier. Be sure not to overpromise.
6. Choose Domestic Shipping Services 
   • Pick the Domestic Shipping Services you want to offer. You can even Add additional shipping services for more customer choice at checkout.
7. Choose International Shipping Services 
   • If you ship internationally, select your services here. If not, simply leave the international setting unchanged.
8. Save 
   • Once all the details are set, hit Save, and your shipping profile will be ready to use!

Return Profile Features:

• Create, Edit, Copy, Delete, and View Listings
  • Manage your return profiles easily and see which listings are linked to each profile.
  • Return profiles are used to create new listings and can also be applied to edit existing ones.

Creating a Return Profile

1. Profile Name 🏷️
   • Choose a memorable name that’s easy to identify. This name is for your eyes only—not visible to your customers.
2. Description 📝
   • Add an optional description to remind yourself of the profile’s details. Again, this is private and not visible to buyers.
3. Select Your eBay Account and Market 🌍
   • Choose the eBay account and market this profile will apply to.
4. Set Up Default Return Policy Settings 🔄
   • If you accept returns, leave the returns accepted box checked. If you don’t, uncheck it.
5. Select Domestic and/or International Return Policy Settings 🌎
   • Choose whether you want the return policy to apply domestically, internationally, or both.
6. Set Return Timeframe ⏳
   • Choose the number of days an item can be returned. eBay recommends 30 days for the best customer experience.
7. Refund and Return Shipping 💵
   • Choose how the refund will be issued and who will pay for return shipping—you or the buyer.
8. Save 💾
   • Once you’ve completed all the settings, hit Save, and your return profile will be ready to use!

Listing Profile Features:

  • Listing profiles can be used to create new listings and edit existing listings.

Creating a Listing Profile

1. Profile Name 🏷️
   • Pick a memorable name that’s easy to identify. This name will be for your eyes only—not visible to your customers.
2. Description 📝
   • Add an optional description to remind yourself of the profile’s purpose. This is private and not shown to buyers.
3. Select Your eBay Account and Market 🌍
   • Choose the eBay account and market this profile will apply to.
4. Select eBay Category 🛒
   • Choose the eBay category that best fits your item to ensure the right audience sees your listing.
5. Enter Item Location 📍
   • This is the location your item ships from, not necessarily your personal address, but the shipping origin.
6. Additional Information (Optional) 🛠️
   • You can also save additional optional details within the profile for faster listings.
7. Save 💾
   • Once all necessary fields are filled, click Save, and your listing profile will be ready to use!

Payment Profile Features:

  • Payment profiles are used to create new listings and edit existing listings.

3. Select Your eBay Account and Market 🌍
   • Choose the eBay account and market this profile will apply to.
4. Enter Your PayPal Email Address 💳
   • Add your PayPal email address (if applicable). This is where payments will be processed.
5. Choose Accepted Payments & Taxes 💰
   • Select the payment methods you accept and any taxes you may need to include.
6. Checkout Instructions 🛒
   • Optional: If your item requires special circumstances (like a custom-made product with a long processing time), add checkout instructions to notify buyers.
7. Save 💾
   • Once all the necessary fields are filled, hit Save, and your payment profile will be ready for use!
